Work related (North Lindsey College)

Rationale

The Skills Centre at North Lindsey College enables schools to offer an extended curriculum choice at Key Stage 4 for their learners.

The programmes of study within the centre are timetabled alongside Huntcliff School.

Programmes of study

Every student who attends one of the Skills Centres has the opportunity to study for an industry recognised qualification. Within each Centre we deliver courses in Motor Vehicle, Construction, Hair and Beauty. In addition to these, students have access to and extended range of courses on the main college campus. These qualifications support a seamless transition into post 16 education and training.

Students follow a two year course and gain hands on practical experience with the follow up written work in school.
